DOWNLOAD VOCAB DRILL PROGRAM

Read all instructions below before you begin to download the program.

1. You must be able to unzip files to download the vocab program.  If you do not have that capability, see the lettered info below.

2. When ready, click on download vocab drill below. 

3. When the window pops up, choose save file to disc.

4. I recommend saving it to the desktop.  You can always delete the file off your desktop after you have run the setup program and installed the software.  Choose Save when ready.

5. It may take some time if you have a dial-up connection (3 MB).

6. If you have unzip software running on your computer, right-click the icon for VocabZip.zip and choose to Unzip it.  If you do not have any unzip software, see step A below.

7. When the files are unzipped, double-click on Setup.exe

8. Choose all default buttons during the setup process.

9. The file will create a shortcut under Start, Programs on your desktop.  The files are stored under C:\Program Files\Project 1\

10. You may always uninstall the program by choosing Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs then choose to remove Vocab Drill

UNZIP SOFTWARE

1. If you do not have any unzip software, you may want to try the links below.

2. Stuffit is a free program that allows you to unzip files only.  You can upgrade and pay for the zip feature for future use if you ever need it.  Click on the option to Download and follow the on-screen directions.  I recommend saving the file to the desktop.  You can always delete it later.  After you install Stuffit and restart your computer, download the vocab program (see step 2 above).  Right-click on the VocabZip.zip file and choose Expand.  The program will place a folder (VocabZip) on your desktop.  Double-click the folder to get to the vocab setup program (see step 7 above.)

3. FreeZip is a totally free program that can be downloaded and used to zip and unzip files.  If you have another unzip program running, this one will override it.  You can always uninstall the program later if you choose not to keep it. (see step 9 above).  Just click on the link below and follow the directions to download FreeZip.

4. WinZip is a pay program.  You may, however, download a preview version of it free of charge for 21 days.  If you choose to use this program, be sure to read the disclaimers and terms of use.  If you decide not to keep it, you may uninstall later.
